just an idea, 3 is a bit low imo, the more the better i think maybe 6, it gives more views and eases up the schedule for CP, SEER AND MART.

Before anyone starts this isnt a sly way of trying to get to be one i have no interest whatsoever in being a MOD.

any suggestions guys and please keep this serious if possible, i know there are a handful of posters that are respected across the board by most and contribute enough to be considered imo.....but what say you

Yes, very good idea BringthePain. I think with the site seemingly busier these days and with alot of big fights coming-up it would be wise to get 3 more mods in.
I think 1 should be from outside the UK as they would be able to keep an eye on the site while the UK sleeps. (Aussiegood would be a great choice).
NickViking and 23duff would be good choices IMO.

What happened to double H?

Obvious ones are Limie and Orb... slightly less obvious, but still good would be BringIt and Winkle. Duff and Nick are good shouts too.

What about Moof?...

:P (My bad! I couldn't resist that one)

BringIt = BringTheMotherfuckinHurt = BringThePain = Your good self... even though you don't wanna be a mod. You may just have been saying that

Not a bad idea BTP with the increased traffic. If I could just add to it a little further, Non UK mods is a great idea for sleeping UK cover, is a super idea in my opinion, but what about breaking the moderators into sections more. I have done it in the past on older forums that I used to run for online gaming. A group of global moderators and a larger number of sectuion moderators responsible for their own little areas of expertice. They had no massive powers like global mods but were able to edit and lock threads that they felt needed to be done. For anything over an obove that they had to talk to a global Mod. Just an idea.

yes gareth i see where your coming from, hopefully within a couple of days the mods will have given their input/ideas.
I think the biggest thing though is to have respected posters taking the positions.
mart might have his lil hitler head on though and squash our disgraceful train of thoughts ;)

I'd say the board is two moderators short, when I was modding last year it was Seer, Mart and myself initially, and we all agreed then that three wasn't quite enough, so we invited CP and HitHard then - as you all may remember.

It did work well with the five (was also six, as BBAdmin was more active then too, don't forget). Even when I had to jack it in, it still functioned very well indeed.

Six would probably be overkill - I'm convinced that five would be right.

As for mods to be, I don't think it's so good to name who you think should be moderator (I mean, in elections votes are confidential so I feel they should be here also), but will send my views to Seer. At least on this board we have a few possible mods here.

I liked the idea of an overseas moderator a lot, but when you consider I can go to bed at midnight, log on quickly at around 07:30 and there only be around 60 posts then I doubt that is much of an area for concern and doubt if it is such a necessity.

That's the one area I think this board could improve - it shuts about 2 when Nosworthy closes the door :D
Maybe the board should think Global now that it's well established and a foreign mod would be good for cleaning up any spam/ dodgy links while looking over the increased numbers.
