Evening all!
These little flaws have been mentioned before but with the server fiasco they understandably got shunted unceremoniously onto the back burner. So, I shall bring them up once more.
1. In the bookmakers we still see many usernames in triplicate. I know alts can be a probem but I'd have thought they're easy enough to spot when the same name crops up three times...
Come to think of it, quite a few of us are on Boxpics on Facebook, we could pick off some of the matchups on there and put them on here. More betting fun then.
2. CP mentioned something similar, and I've had the problem for ages - there's always a note saying I have a new message. I get round it by clicking on it as a matter of course when logging on, but it does mean if a poster was hoping for a quicker reply I can't really do it.
Might as well delete the blogs, come to think of it. I don't think anyone uses theirs any more. |

Hey Stevie,
The first one - There's obviously a small error in the code that's doing that. It is hassle to go in and make changes as any rewriting of the site goes through our test site first and then get's transferred to the LIVE one. For such a small glitch it's better off leaving it until actual changes are made to that area and it will be included with the update.
The second one - all weblogs will be removed and deleted from the site soon as they were an idea that didn't really take off and have now become a collecting place for bots to spam. |

Good stuff, still have that glitch with the "new messages" that don't exist and maybe we can put more fights on the bookmakers. At the moment it seems like just biggish names.
Seen with Boxpics that they also give odds so it shouldn't be too hard to make some kind of table-cum-matrix where we could put loads on. If they say a fighter is 1.4 to win then maybe set 1/8 odds on "to win" here at the BB bookies. |
