oops since sending this post there has been an update:

Kimbo Slice vs Ken Shamrock Elite XC main event fight October 4

Fucking joke of a fight, Shamrock has lost eight of his last 10 fights dating back to 2001 and he’s on a five-fight losing skid.

Complete exhibition bout. I wonder when they'll give Kimbo a live fighter. That said, i think Shamrock could win this via submission if he can get it to the ground.

your likely right Shamrock hasn't been relevant in 10 years

however the bigger issue is why are we even talking about this?

There are so many better fighters out there. Even in terms of "freak show" Brock Lensar holds far more interest for me.

Lesnar proved against Herring he is not just a freak show. He was very impressive against a very game fighter.

However, i do think he'll have very big problems against good BJJ guys for the forseeable future. He wouldn't last 5 seconds on the floor with Big Nog

i believe lesnar will be a champ soon and i think he'd demolish nogueira. i hope he fights kongo next because kongo will test his chin.

i think kimbo is a pretty decent fighter myself. he needs to be put in against someone who will test him tho.

kimbo is nothing more than a backstreet fighter. i'd have thought that even shamrock, WAY WAY WAY past his prime, would have too much nous and skills to be worried about Kimbo.

he's fought nobody of any note and probably never will for the same reason as stated above, he's not a true MMA fighter by any stretch of the imagination. put him in with lesnar and hopefully we'll see the back of both of them, neither are impressive enough to warrant the publicity they get.

dana white should sign kimbo and throw him to the wolves against rampage, chuck or wanderlei. he'd soon be back to fighting on youtube.

I couldnt disagree more, i dont think Lesnar would stand any sort of chance against Big Nog. Nog can take punishment as well as any other fighter in the UFC and all it would need was the fight to go to the floor for 5 seconds and he would submit Lesnar. Look what happened with Frank Mir, and Nog is far superior to Mir as he will prove in December. There is no way Lesnar wins that fight

In terms of subs and ground skills I dont think there is anyone who can be said to be "far superior" to Mir

firstly kimbo started out as a street fighter but is now trained by bas rutten (a top mma fighter). he has won his first 3 fights in the cage. he is fit now, has good ko power and has submitted someone.
secondly i dont think he'd be fighting liddell or rampage as he's a heavyweight. the last fight he had proved he was an mma fighter!

lesnar beat heath herring who has beaten alot of tough fighters in his time. lesnar absolutely demolished him!!! lesnar will be a champ, take my word for it. alot of people will struggle with his strength.

Kimbos last fight proved nothing. It was a bit of a black eye for the organization.
