Inspired by the topic on Calzaghe saying he would beat them all but Graham would be the most difficullt. for whatever reason Graham never fought the other "best of British" despite being in a similar weight class at the time. So who would win?
v Steve Collins
v Nigel Benn
v Chris Eubanks
and for good measure is he right
v Joe Calzaghe |

I think Graham would be too quick for Collins and outpoint him - Collins wasn't a tremendous puncher and I think Graham would win a clearcut decision.
Eubank would simply be outworked.
Benn would land that killer blow on Graham and had the speed of punch to catch him.
Calzaghe had great hand speed and while he would look awkward at times he would pinch a decision. |

I pretty much totally agree with Rob here -
Collins was good and made to look better by beating fading Benn and Eubank. He'd have been beaten quite soundly by Graham if both in their peak IMO.
I reckon Eubank would have been a close one, maybe a SD to Graham? It wouldn't of been a very good fight though, far too cagey.
Benn would have hounded Graham down and I reckon finally caught up with him, perhaps not the attrition of Cotto-Margarito but similar pattern to the fight.
Calzaghe finds a way... |

I think the really intriguing fight that never happened was Graham-v-Tony Sibson. Their peaks absolutely coincided circa 1985. I would never say they 'avoided' each other, but they certainly didn't bust a gut to make a fight happen.
I'd always just give my first boxing hero Sibson the edge, but only just, because at his best Graham was inspired. It's just a shame he couldn't produce his best when it most mattered. |

| I think Graham would have had a chance against the first three ( Benn might not land enough against Graham ) but Calzaghe would have beaten him i reakon without too much of a scare. |

| I think Graham out points Collins, loses to a peak Eubank (pre watson) and just edges a peak Benn (pre McClellan). |

| I did like Herol honest, but for me he does not win one of those fights. All of them were world Champions, and decent ones. Herol was not, and that was not bad luck,it was bad defence, chin, nous......etc. Greatest and toughest game there is, no hiding place or excuses. Harsh reality, not quite good enough. |

| I think Graham would easily beat the middleweight Benn but not quite so confident in him winning against Benn of the super-middle years. I think Graham would beat Eubank over points and I see Graham beating Collins over the distance too. I think Calzaghe would beat Graham on points or maybe late stoppage but not enjoy the experience one bit. |

I remember this fight being talked about Barlick because I remember Sibson calling Graham a "Limbo dancer". There wasn't a big fuss for this fight to happen. |
