www.boxingnewsonline.com (I think its com)

or

www.britishamateurboxing.net (though this is only started recently and doesnt have a great ranking page yet)

To be honest unless your opponent is fighting at country lvl you'll probably not get too much info on him online. If you give me his name etc and can see if any of the Irish lads have fought him before and see what I can find out for you.

Sorry cant find a Johny Morris anywhere, not an AMA with that record anyway.

Do you know which club he is from ?

It must be great knowing who you are fighting so far ahead of a bout, here we are lucky to find out the day before the fight nevermind this early and thats even for Irish lvl stuff, generally we weighin and fight on the same days and if there are more rounds you see your opponents name in the paper the night before.

I still dont understand how a guy with your record is fighting a dude with a 5-0-0- record surely thats novice vs intermediate at least if not worse.

Have you won any titles mate? 70Kg thats my weight lol though I'm a senior boxer so you have a year to wait yet lol.

Yeah, I have pretty given up hope of ever getting under 81kg again. Now I just need to decide if I want to fight at heavy or just concentrate on coaching.

i'm in the same boat, never gonna be able to make 75 again. just going to stay at 81. can get down to around 77 but after that i need to starve myself and train like a maniac to try and drop the last few pounds.
