|
|
hey guys nowadays i pretty much have nothing better to do during the day than go to the gym. So wanna bulk up! :D
I'm 5'8 similar bulid to ricky Hatton but quite a bit stockier (i.e. very broad shoulders) I'm also a cross between him in training and out of trainning weight wise.
Wandering if any1 could help me out with a decent weight training regime? i'm looking to be bulked up maybe to maybe the standard of slightly more than Jermaine taylor slightly less than lacy.
Fat loss and muscle gain is the primary objective for the next few months tho.
appriciate any help guys cheers! i'm sure we have some fitness experts on here |

I'm a personal trainer and former powerlifter.
Couple of questions if I may. How heavy are you usually? What muscles in particular you looking to bulk, or just all over?
Are you concerned with CV fitness as well?>
Also, are you boxing as well? Just so I know to include exercises that have punch carryover.
Thanks. |

Woah thanks for the quick response lol
Ive just slimmed down to about 13 stone from 14 and a half, i'm 5 foot 8 and very stocky. i generally have to buy 36" waste jeans instead of 34" otherwise they wont get round my legs.
Primarilly i wanna bulk up all over on the top half of my body with some CV too (although i do play squash a couple of times a week which is why ive slimmed) and tone or reduce size on my legs and ass so i can get proper jeans lol.
I have done a little boxing training and looking to get into it again as one of my goals is to have at least 1 amateur fight before i'm 30. but i wanna be in shape before i get into proper training for it. I'm weighing a light heavy at mo wanna be down at middleweight for a fight.
Email me a regime if thats easier streety_j21@hotmail.com
oh and i do have the time once i'm in better shape to train twice a day.
And another thing i have a mate who plays basketball and has been weight training for a few years he's not massive but if i could match him within a year or so i'd love that coz he'd hate it!
Thanks very muich for your help Lord Harris. A promotion to Sir or Prince or King beckons if this works out  |

I think you're in good hands with Lord Harris, but just to add my 2 cents...
I prefer compound lifts over concentration exercises because they force your body to secrete more 'juice' thereby maximising your benefits. Emphasis on squats, deadlift, bench press. I'm happy with my results. Cheers. |
