V
Who would win in a Prime V Prime 12 rounder between these two legends, they are my two favourite British fighters and this would be one of my absolute dream fights, in my opinion this one would go to the decision and maybe even be a draw, but it would be a hell of a good fight and probably been the greatest domestic british dust up ever
Who do you lot think wins and how? |

| Calzaghe - Benn was less effective at super middle and Calzaghe was also a good puncher in the early days. |

THIS WOULD BE A WAR!
There is no way either man is turning their backs for a second 8)
I just dont see Joe not being dragged into life and death conflict if Im honest, and being worn down and stopped...for me it would go like Byron Mitchell, but Benn would keep coming.
Benn after McClelland loses by stoppage. |

I have to go with Joe, but i'd be screaming for Nigel. Just cant see Benn taking Joe out with one shot with that chin. joe is just too skillful to get tagged continuously.
Joe on the other hand with the volume of punches wears Nigel down after the 9th. |

| I think that even though Cal has the ability to out-box Benn, Benn would drag him into a war and force him to trade (which Cal likes to do). If the fight went this way I see Benn dropping him then stopping him. |

I think if any british fighter ever could stop Calzaghe then Benn would be the man to do it, but i don't think Joe would put himself in the position to get stopped |

| Tough one to call. Joe loves a scrap, and Nigel is better when he's hurt. I'll go for Benn. |

| I can see this very much like Benn v Eubank 1. Calzaghe by stoppage. Benn would drag him into a war but pre Buscuit hands Joe could also punch and had much better punch resistance than Benn |

| I think Calzaghe by decision. I was tempted to say by stoppage but I think up at super-middle Benn had improved since the first Eubank fight. |

| I think Joe by stoppage. Joe has a great chin and the speed and height to avoid Bennīs killer punches. The speed and volume of shots would really trouble Benn and I think, although an exciting gripping fight, Benn fades late on and Calzaghe stops him between the 7th and 10th rounds. |
