Rendall Munroe’s clash with Fabrizio Trotta was originally scheduled to
happen in Nottingham in November, but promoter Frank Maloney is now
poised to add the bout the card he has already arranged for Dublin City
University’s Helix on December 16th

Its Saunders Pro debut and he is a student of the Uni and therefore will pull a bigger crowd than Munroe could in England. Munroe only has a small group of hardcore fans, and to be honest I reckon half (if not more) of them will travel for a weekend on the piss.

If you think back a few weeks there was a bit os a fight about a Munroe v dunne bout and where it mat take place as Maloney offered the purse and Brian Peters then upped it and offer Munroe the payday of his life but FTM didnt take it and the fight was put to one side for now. It looks like Frank might be trying to test the water with Munroe seeing as Saunder will fill the hall anyway.

To be honest since FTM Press started posting on Boxrec, frank has been limited in what info is being passed throught o myself as I have disagreed with a few of his press release style items there. i'll od a bit more digging but the Dec show should be a cracker, BTW theres a great wee bantam weight on the bill - Luke "Winky" Wilton currntly 3-0 but all the fight of a wild dog and the skill to go with it.
