You got any plans?
Me and MIss Binman made a nice pumpkin faces things - mine was very scrary, and is currenly impaled on a spike outside my front doot. I expect gypos and wild dog children from Canning Town to steal it tonight.
Friday: James Bond and Gormet Burger
Saturday: rest, may go to a leaving party
Sunday: swim and Tiger Woods Golf. |

I don't understand why "we've" taken Hallowean back on? It didn't exist here 30 years ago, now you can't move this time of year for stupid paper skeletons, hats and fucking black plastic capes. Even shops that have nothing to sell have shit up, why?
Obviously it's a move away from fireworks/fire and a chance to sell useless shit to children that mither their parents but it bugs me. |

Yeah, he replied to my comment on his fb status. He's currently battling a hangover with a burger and they've got a couple of hours to sort his costume. Which doesn't sound remotely like him at all, given we were in Islington on NYE at 6pm trying to get a costume for a party we had to be at in Wales for 8pm. |

Worst bit re. Halloween is the sheer number of scallies knocking on your door begging for money in the form of "trick or treat" or "penny for the guy". Although one nice trick is to slam the door in their faces, and if you trap one of their digits then it's a treat.
Nowadays, this is one day of the year where if someone knocks on the door, I just blissfully ignore it. I can't be arsed slamming doors now.
Only problem this year is that I have moved my PC and it is set up in the living room so I guess people may just notice my shadow behind the blinds.
Well, I guess MP4 players have their uses, so I shall have that on at full blast. |

Ask yourself that - I'm not a mindreader.
Basically it is glorified begging - asking for money with nothing done to earn it. I think it's hideous, quite frankly.
EDIT: The Danish vitamin drink in my avatar is a nice retort... |

Seemingly not here then. I've been asked for it three times already - once at home and twice when walking through Salford. That said, one year I got lucky with an unofficial bonfire - I was demolishing a sideboard with a mate and there was an unofficial bonfire in a nearby back street, so most of it went on that! |
