if haye fails at heavyweight and moves to cruiser theres only 1 division between them.

also its fantasy fights so hows it a non starter

Haye by KO.

Joe's chin is excellent, but not against such a weight/size difference.

True but joes a career 12 stoner haye was a huge cruiser. Haye will end up getting up to 230 or so for his next fight. Your right its only a division or 2 but its a lot of real terms weight. In real terms of weight its like putting benny lynch against calzaghe (if haye comes in at 230). Or alternatively hatton v calzaghe is only 26 pounds at their primes...

Haye would dwarf him, walk through him and beat him shitless

muscle dosnt allways win u fights (uk book makers wrote off calzaghe v lacy) lacy was built like a tank

calzaghe got great defence, great footwork and great speed. and makes his oppenents miss and tires them out. but haye would prob ko him out, but stranger things have happened

Not muscle but overall mass, hayes a very capable fighter, with a great punch, good speed and decent pouch resistance...imo no contest. I know the point your making, but hayes a genuinely talented guy, with more than just a big slow punch.

I think Haye would KO him in all honesty, but Jones Jr beat Ruiz without too many diffficulties and he and Calzaghe are pretty similar in size.

Big difference in punching power between Ruiz and Haye though to be fair.

If Haye fails at Heavyweight no way does he get down to Cruiserweight. He will come in against Barrett about 230-235ish of pure muscle so he'd have to lose over 2 stone of muscle! Haye is a huge, huge man and will never make 200 ever again.

Calzaghe doesn't have any problems making 175 and would be a fat c*** at Cruiser. If the old, cruiserweight version of Haye fought a fat Calzaghe then he stops him in a round via decapitation. Terrible, terrible match-up.

Jones put on alot of muscle when he went up to Heavyweight though, hence the reason he was fucked when he came back down to 175 (well, that and the lack of roids :P ). He still has huge biceps now, did you watch 24/7?

Also, Haye is bigger than Ruiz (and as you've already said, hits alot harder) and i just can't imagine Calzaghe getting up to 200lbs and being in any kind of shape.

Calzaghe v Macceranelli would be far more likely but it'll never happen. Clinton Woods must be kicking himself over the Tarver loss.

ive got a friend whos a retired body builder, he was a gym physio/trainer/teacher won lots of competitions and went on shows all over uk, his fav event was to breaks lots of 9inch nails in a bundle with his hands m anyway 2stone muscle? find that a bit weird as in a year you can only put on 4/6 lbs on muscle (well thats what him and all his body buliding friends also told me)

Remember how knackered Haye was after 5 rounds against Thompson. Calzaghe would make him miss a hell of a lot! BUT i see Haye winning KO in round 4ish!

Whats with all the negativity this is the fantasy fight section isnt it?
