i really do wonder sometimes if people are just openly ignoring basic form and making predictions based on blind hope or outright insanity. holyfield hasn't looked good for absolutely years, and in his last three fights valuev has posted shutouts in two and beaten john ruiz, who had the beating of holyfield 7 years ago.

the idea that holyfield will rise to the big occasion wasn't in evidence when sultan ibragimov beat him with absolute ease more than a year ago. valuev is far from a great boxer, and it's self evident holyfield would have beaten him in their primes, but i don't see how any evidence points to anything other than a valuev win.
