Manny sets the rules because he's the bigger superstar. He could have said the fight is at 140, and Cotto likely would have declined. Manny said the fight is at 145, and Cotto accepted. The 1 lb reduction from Cotto's last weigh in is not important at all, and if the weight in limit was 200, Cotto might come to the weigh in at 165 with Manny at 140. Now that doesn't sound like a competitive fight to me. At 145, we'll see a competitive fight so sit back and enjoy and remember that Cotto agreed to the limit - no excuses.
