I think this is a very good indication that heavyweight boxing is not as dead as keeps getting reported. Maybe we just need to watch boxing on ZDF instead of HBO, that's the only difference?

Bit of a worry though.

17,000 people that I can guarantee wont ever pay to see a Heavyweight fight ever again.

I mean would you after watching Kevin Johnson attempt to hug Klit for 12 rounds?

Its a bit like watching your mum have sex, its enough to put you off for life!

I dunno, perhaps you're being a bit hard on the Swiss? They're desperate for big fights (any fights) to come their way and are willing to pay if they do! The sport of boxing is prizefighting and will follow money wherever that maybe. If no one is willing to pay in the U.S, perhaps European countries le Switzerland are the answer?

As people have been saying, perhaps boxing isn't dying - its moving. I think the real shame in the heavy division is the two best fighters are brothers who wont fight. If they weren't and you also had Haye hopefully coming through it'd be quite exciting.
