British heavyweight champion Danny Williams has reunited with former
trainer Jim McDonnell. Williams' next defence of his British title must be
against the winner of Sexton-Rogan. Jim McDonnell has spent the last
5mths in the U.S working with Floyd Mayweather Jnr.

Hes been working with Floyd?

Bloody hell I didnt know that.

Seems a strange fit. McDonnell seems to be all about going hell for leather, and thats one thing nobody can accuse Floyd of!

Sounds good for Williams though. Some of his best stuff was with McDonnell. They were a great double act back in the day. I'll never forget watching McDonnell shout at Danny whilst he was running round a track with a tyre on his back. Comedy gold!

I think Danny Williams is shot now, which is a shame as he has given us so many great fights to watch over the years. When he got put down by Carl Baker in the prizefighter tournament, whose nickname was 'the fridge', you know its time to get out. Danny is a class act and deserves better than that. He even said it himself after that fight, that he had had too many hard fights. I just hope he doesnt get badly hurt by Sexton.

Bad news- Mcdonnell has always struck me as incompetent and I don;t think he shouyld have been allowed anywhere near a corner after the Vitali fight.

I agree, Williams is shot. Lets hope Sexton goes easy on him.
