Taylor released from hospital after suffering concussion
Jermain Taylor has been released from hospital in Germany following his 12th-round knockout by Arthur Abraham in Berlin on Saturday. The 31-year-old was taken to hospital as a precaution after suffering from concussion-like symptoms.

I think Showtime want Edison Miranda to be the replacement. He's just joined Joe Goossen incidently. Don't know how Miranda would feel about joining a tournament after it's started with zero points?

there are rumours of a box-off between Miranda, Allan Green and Jesse Brinkley. Brinkley?! Oh dear.

I think Sakio Bika would be better then all three. Miranda will get beaten by Ward again and Kessler will beat him too.

Oh blimey, Brinkley doesn't want to get himself involved with this tournament. Infact if he did he would disrupt proceedings because he would simply be viewed by ever other fighter in the tournament as a free 'gimme' 3 points. And they'd argue about the importance of the draw. And then bitch about the lucky bastard that drew Brinkley and complain at the validity of where the tournament is going.
Him simply being involved would cause disruption.

Well I'm assuming the next two rounds would stay the same and the fighter replacing Taylor would have his fights.
That would be Ward and then Kessler. To me, it's only Miranda and Bika that should be considered. I think both of them would lose to both Ward and Kessler.

Yeah, I'm up for Bika getting involved. He's a tough bastard. Atleast we'll get good fights with him, win or lose.

Sakio Bika deserves to be in super 6. He's one tough and very exciting boxer and could actually beat anyone out there. Unfortunatelly I think they will pick Allan Green to replace Taylor.

I hope Taylor takes himself out of the tournament. I cringe watching his fights now, waiting for the late round KO. The concussion is a sure warning sign - hang 'em up.

I think they SHOULD, but they won't. Bute's team apparently didn't want him in there. I read that on otherplace I think.
I think he could do pretty well too.

Exactly, he's a tough guy. His last two losses were against Calzaghe and Bute... two world class fighters. Manfredo's only TKO losses were against Bika and Calzaghe and Bika I think was the only legit TKO.
