He is a national hero there, all the Phillipine people worship the ground he walks on. He has my full respect and I hope he enjoys his well earned rest before coming back to prepare for his next fight, whoever it may be against.
Some of the girls who work in the cafeteria in my office/building are Filipino. I always chat and joke with them. Obviously, on Monday when I went into work and saw them at lunchtime, they were extremely happy with how the fight had gone, haha. _________________ `

I know a girl who's in my class and half Filipino.. .same reaction.
I watched the fight at a friends house. She's Filipno and so were the other 50 or so people. It was crazy after he won and it wasn't much more sane when the fight was taking place.
